Opportunities to Serve & Connect

What better way to connect with others than to serve with others? As a new church we have many opportunities to serve- there are sign-up sheets on the tables in the lobby of the school on Sunday mornings

“First Timers”
Means you may come and check out any ministry, any time, for 1 or more times just to see if it fits you and how God has gifted you. You may try out as many different ministry areas as you would like to find the place where you can serve best. Our prayer is that when you find that place, and you will serve there with all of your heart.

Nursery STOP and Kids ZONE
We need helpers in both areas - Parents please take a turn and sign up to be a helper.

Greeting
Do you have an upbeat personality and enjoy being with people and talking to them? Then stand in the lobby and welcome people as they come in and giving them helping as needed.

Technical Support
Sound person: run the sound during worship – there is training available.
Video projection: run words to music, PowerPoint and video during worship.
Web designer: maintain web site and put messages on it each week.

Facilities
Set-up: Set-up for the worship service – this will begin at 7:30am.  We are usually finished by 8:30am, in time for you to go home and get ready and return.

Musicians and Singers
We  will take auditions from anyone who can contribute musically.

Small Groups
Host Homes: Someone willing to open their homes for a group to meet.
Discussion Leaders: Someone willing to lead a discussion based on the sermon or some other topic a group would like to study and discuss.

Loving Hands Unlimited
This is a nonprofit organization in Aurora that serves 1000 meals a week to the homeless. This type of ministry is what we’re about: Loving & Serving Others. See our bulletin insert for more information.
